The other three events in the World Golf Championships are The Bridgestone Invitational, The American Express Championship, and The World Cup. The Accenture Match Play Championship is both organised and sanctioned by the International Federation of PGA Tours. Former winners of this competition include Tiger Woods, Kevin Sutherland and David Toms. The 2007 event is to be held February 19th 25th at The Gallery Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Arizona. The prize money is expected to be in excess of $1 million. This is also official prize money on both the PGA Tour and the PGA European Tour. Qualifying for the Accenture Match Play Championship
Qualification for the event is dependent on a player's standing in the Official World Rankings. Only the top sixty-four golfers in the list will be invited to play at the Accenture World Match Play Championship.

Betting on the Accenture World Match Play Championship
The main tip for a competition such as this is to check course form and player form. For example, this tournament has been won twice by Tiger Woods in the last three years on the same course. If Woods starts off well in the first tournaments of the year, then he will be one of the favourites to win. Individual match odds will also be made, where punters bet on who will win in each match. Odds may also be available on who has the best score and the winning margin a player has over his opponent.
